Nestled three miles north of Molkom, within the secluded lakeside forests of Sweden, is Angsbacka—a modern-day retreat for adults. Each year, this sanctuary welcomes a thousand participants from around the globe, who are randomly assigned to ‘Sharing Groups.’ Among them are a Swedish celebrity, a Californian free spirit, a Finnish grandmother, and an Australian rugby coach who accidentally joined the wrong gathering. Together, they embark on a uniquely memorable two-week journey filled with emotional highs and lows. Through activities like firewalking, shamanism, tantric sex, and a variety of other physical, psychological, and mystical experiences, these unlikely adventurers are led toward self-discovery, love, and sometimes aversion.
