The Lost Generation
Drawing heavily from real-life events surrounding global occupy movements and protests over the past three years, “The Lost Generation” offers an engaging and pertinent exploration of today’s media and societal landscape. The film invites us to follow SJ, a reality TV star and the inspiring female protagonist, as she embarks on a monumental struggle for survival in a dystopian reflection of our contemporary world. In this narrative, a corrupt media empire holds sway over both the police and government, using mass surveillance to manipulate and scandalize authorities while disseminating propaganda that dictates how people should live, leaving citizens in a state of desperation. Yet, amidst this chaos, there is a glimmer of hope embodied by a group known as The Unknown.
