The Highwayman

Notorious highwayman Dick Turpin finds himself fleeing across the English countryside after inadvertently abducting the spirited daughter of the Earl of Pembroke, Elizabeth. As her betrothed, Winthroppe, pursues them, Elizabeth starts to develop feelings for the charming outlaw. This leaves Turpin with no option but to confront Winthroppe in a battle for both Elizabeth’s affection and her wealth.
