Shake Hands with the Devil

Canadian Lt. General Romeo Dallaire served as the military leader of the UN mission in Rwanda, and this film presents a personal and painfully authentic account of his experiences during the 1994 genocide. While it may not evoke the same emotional impact as the earlier film “Hotel Rwanda” and is less focused on dramatic and emotional elements, it remains a stark and distressing portrayal.
