Unfabulous
“Unfabulous” is an American children’s TV series that premiered on Nickelodeon. The show centers around Addie Singer, a 7th-grade middle school student portrayed by Emma Roberts, who navigates the trials of adolescence. Created by Sue Rose, known for her work on “Pepper Ann” and “Angela Anaconda,” the series first aired in late summer 2004 and quickly became a favorite among children aged 10 to 16 in the United States.
The series concluded on December 16, 2007, wrapping up with its third season. Nickelodeon stopped airing reruns in June 2008, but the show found a new home on The N until late 2009. It later returned to TeenNick on October 11, 2011, and continued until April 2, 2012, before making another comeback on December 3, 2012.
Each episode is narrated by Addie and presented as a flashback, with all titles beginning with “The.” The theme song, performed by Jill Sobule, who also composes the series’ music, sets the tone for the show.
