In 1967, after five blissful years of marriage in New York with her husband Alberto and their young son, Anna Ribera returns to Spain to elevate her Velvet project. Anna and Alberto had been overseeing Velvet’s operations from New York, and along with their closest friends and business partners, they had established Velvet as a leading name in fashion and innovation. Now, they aim to transform their esteemed reputation into a franchise, starting domestically before expanding internationally. Their first move is to open a new store in Barcelona, located on the renowned Passeig de Gracia. This second Velvet Fashion Store will be managed by Anna’s close friend Clara, who has risen through the ranks from seamstress to assistant director during the Madrid Velvet years.
