ReGenesis

“ReGenesis” is a Canadian TV series created by The Movie Network and Movie Central in collaboration with Shaftesbury Films. Spanning four seasons, the show centers on the scientists at NorBAC, a fictional organization with a laboratory in Toronto. This team tackles scientific challenges such as bio-terrorism, mysterious diseases, and drastic environmental changes across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The organization is led by David Sandström, a chief scientist and molecular biologist, through whom the series often explores contemporary social, political, and ethical issues related to science.

Initially aired on The Movie Network and Movie Central, the series was later rebroadcast on Global and Showcase in Canada. Internationally, it has been available on FX in the UK, The Science Channel, Halogen TV, and in syndication on CW Plus in the US, as well as FX Latin America in Mexico, and various other broadcasters across Europe and Asia. Oasis International manages its global distribution. As of April 2012, the show is also accessible on Hulu.com.
