After spending 19 years on Death Row for the rape and murder of his teenage girlfriend, Daniel Holden is finally returning home. His conviction has been overturned thanks to new DNA evidence. Now, he must navigate a world that has become unfamiliar to him, and his reintegration into society may prove to be just as harsh as his time in prison. Daniel is tormented by his past, burdened by his present, and unsure about his future. As he tries to adjust to his new reality, his return stirs up old fears in his small town and threatens to disrupt his family’s delicate peace.
