Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays

“Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays” is a Canadian sitcom that premiered on CBC Television in 2011. The National Post likens it to a blend of “What About Bob?” and “Frasier.” The series features Matt Watts as Michael, a young man with neurotic tendencies who attends therapy sessions twice a week. Bob Martin plays David, his therapist, who sees Michael as the perfect subject for his experimental psychiatric methods, which he hopes will catapult him to fame as a bestselling pop psychology author. The show, filmed in Ottawa, also stars Jennifer Irwin, Pablo Silveira, Martha Burns, and Tommie-Amber Pirie.
