Mako: Island of Secrets

In the waters surrounding Mako Island, a group of real-life mermaids named Sirena, Nixie, and Lyla belong to a mermaid pod. As the younger members, their responsibility is to safeguard the Moon Pool from intruders. However, during a full moon night, the playful mermaids shirk their duties, allowing sixteen-year-old Zac, a human, to stumble into the Moon Pool. This encounter grants Zac a mermaid tail and extraordinary abilities.

As a result, the mermaid pod is compelled to abandon Mako Island, leaving Sirena, Nixie, and Lyla behind, exiled from their community. To regain their place in the pod, the three mermaids must transform their tails into legs, venture onto land, and reclaim Zac’s powers, or they risk remaining outcasts forever.
