Gon Freecss, a twelve-year-old boy, unexpectedly learns that his father, whom he believed to be deceased, is actually alive. His father, Ging, holds the prestigious title of a Hunter, granting him the freedom to explore the world and undertake nearly any endeavor. Inspired to emulate his father’s path, Gon resolves to undergo the rigorous Hunter Examination with the ultimate goal of locating his father and establishing his own identity as a Hunter. However, as he embarks on this journey, Gon discovers that the path to becoming a Hunter is far more complex and fraught with formidable challenges than he had initially anticipated.
