Set against the backdrop of Germany’s cultural and political turmoil in the 1980s, this compelling coming-of-age tale centers on Martin Rauch, a 24-year-old from East Germany. Martin is abruptly uprooted from his familiar surroundings and dispatched to West Germany as an undercover operative for the Stasi’s foreign intelligence service. Disguised within the West German military, his mission is to uncover NATO’s military strategies.
