48 Hours

“48 Hours” is a documentary series from the United States that has been airing on CBS since January 19, 1988. The show is scheduled for Saturday nights at 10 p.m. / 9 p.m. Central as part of CBS’s Crimetime Saturday lineup. It is one of the last two original prime-time shows still broadcast on Saturday nights by major U.S. networks, the other being Univision’s “Sabado Gigante.” Occasionally, the program features two-hour specials or back-to-back episodes, depending on the topic or to compete with other networks’ programming.
