48 Hours

“48 Hours” is a documentary series from the United States that has been shown on CBS since its debut on January 19, 1988. It is scheduled for Saturday evenings at 10 p.m. Eastern/9 p.m. Central as part of CBS’s Crimetime Saturday lineup. This makes it one of the last two original prime-time shows still airing on Saturday nights on major U.S. broadcast networks, the other being Univision’s “Sabado Gigante.” Occasionally, the show features two-hour specials or back-to-back episodes on Saturday nights, depending on the topic or to compete with programming on other networks.
