O luna in Thailanda

On a chilly morning in Bucharest, a couple shares an intimate moment. Adina is eager to move in with her boyfriend Radu as soon as possible, but Radu is more hesitant, merely going along with her plans. It’s New Year’s Eve, and the couple has a busy day ahead: they plan to visit Adina’s parents and later attend a party with friends. While shopping for last-minute gifts at the supermarket, Radu thinks he sees his ex-girlfriend Nadja, whom he has never quite gotten over. This brief encounter stirs up Radu’s doubts about his relationship with Adina. As the New Year celebrations begin, their relationship abruptly ends. Conveniently, Radu’s friend Alex invites him to go out with his group, and Radu agrees, hoping to run into Nadja. Director Paul Negogescu skillfully portrays Radu with a mix of precision and subtle irony, capturing the essence of a New Year’s Eve with remarkable authenticity.
