My New Best Friend

Penelope, affectionately called Polka-Dot, is a spirited young girl with a talent for assisting others, especially her sick mother. During her search for a part-time job, she forms an unlikely friendship with a tough police officer and his tracking dog, Luey. As her mother’s health declines, Luey aids Polka-Dot in discovering the inner strength and belief she needs to persevere.
