Lady Stay Dead

Wealthy actress and singer Marie Coleby (played by Deborah Couls) resides in an opulent villa on a secluded beach. After a TV commercial shoot at her villa one afternoon, she provokes the gardener, Gordon Mason (Chard Hayward), into committing chaos and murder. The sudden appearance of Marie’s sister, Jenny Nolan (Louise Howitt), complicates Mason’s efforts to get rid of the body. Mason then plots to kill Jenny, but she is equally determined to survive, leading to a tense battle of wits. Jenny’s hope for rescue seems near when two security officers arrive at the villa, but only Officer Collings (Roger Ward) survives the initial confrontation. Ultimately, Jenny is left to confront Mason alone in a final showdown.
