As the New Year begins, Krista embarks on a new business venture and resolves to be more discerning in her dating life. She crosses paths with Ryan Rourke, an entertainment lawyer from Los Angeles, and they quickly form a strong connection. Ryan is visiting her hometown to secure a deal with a local rancher who has become a viral singing sensation. With Krista also in Rust Creek, Ryan finds additional reasons to extend his stay. Both are grappling with past issues and must confront these challenges if they hope to build a future together.
