This full-length documentary delves into the LGBTQ aspects of gaming culture and the presence of queer individuals within the gaming industry. The 2013 GaymerX convention marked a significant milestone for the global recognition of the queer geek community. That year also saw an unprecedented increase in the representation of gay and lesbian characters in both mainstream and indie games, contributing to greater visibility and acceptance.
