Blood in the Water

Percy and Veronica have spent the summer looking after a luxurious, contemporary home in the Hollywood Hills. However, their return to the reality of New York, with its jobs and challenges of young professional life, is just around the corner. Despite the allure of this idyllic setting, they are eager to leave after an unwelcome visit from Freedgood, a former college acquaintance. Since their days in liberal arts, Freedgood’s life has spiraled into crime, involving imprisonment, dubious business dealings, and drug trafficking. This has ultimately led to his downfall, attracting the attention of a curious LAPD detective. Consequently, Percy and Veronica find themselves yearning for the everyday struggles that now seem preferable to remaining in their deceptive paradise.
