Edge of Madness

In 1851, within the Red River Valley of Manitoba, a young woman teetering on the brink of insanity stumbles into a remote fort as winter begins. She confesses to having killed her husband and is subsequently detained in a cell. Over the following months, she occupies herself with sewing while Henry Mullen, the local prefect, conducts an investigation into her claims.
