In 1965, while rock music is revolutionizing the globe, New Zealand remains untouched by its influence. A young journalist, aged 23, is resolute in his mission to challenge the government’s control over broadcasting. He aims to introduce rock ‘n’ roll to the youth, all while maintaining his relationship with the woman he cherishes.
